Kolhe Lab accepts applications for graduate lab assistantship (GLA) positions offered through the MS in Medical Physiology program. GLAs are paid positions that require 10-20 work hours per week outside of class sessions.
GLAs receive mentorship and hands-on training to carry out molecular laboratory and translational research workflows independently. These positions provide an excellent opportunity to develop practical lab skills while contributing to active research projects under the guidance of pathology faculty and staff.
MS students are eligible for GLA positions during the fall and spring semesters with applications due two months before the semester begins. Offers are sent in July. Previous research or lab experience is not required; candidates are interviewed and selected based on general skills, interest, and personal attributes desirable for the laboratory.
